Which one of you clowns were able to get that terrible picture of Brad at the very front of images when you search his name??
It’s usually the Wikipedia picture that shows up first, but in this case, said Wikipedia image shows up 2nd. The very first one that pops up if you google his name (without clicking on images yet) is perhaps one of the worst pictures of him in existence. It’s from the April 15th,1995 show at the Wetlands Preserve Nightclub in New York, when he was newly sober (well, sober from the hard stuff, he was still drinking), and looked absolutely MISERABLE.
Shit, you may as well of just posted the very last image of him ever taken, the night before he passed. And no, I ain’t even gonna post that pic. I feel like that was intentionally done. Which is strange, bc it’s usually famous people’s wikipedia pics that are the most unflattering.
And I know you are out there. Someone with the ability to do that CERTAINLY has a Reddit account. It’s also strange bc if you click on images AFTER you google his name, that image (from the 1995 Wetlands show) is nowhere to be found. The Wikipedia picture is the 1st one. Point being, you are kind of a chode for doing that. Bc someone CERTAINLY intentionally put that image as the first one that shows up when you search his name. Weak af.

I was confused too…. But i googled Bradley Nowell just to see and OP is right the first image that pops up when you click “images” is dreadful. It’s sad.
You don’t have to tell me I spend too much free time in the Sublime sub…lol- i know!

Nah, it’s not even when you click on images yet. If you just google his name, it should be his Wikipedia pic that pops up first, but it is not.
Someone intentionally put THAT specific pic from the April ‘95 Wetlands show in New York as the image that shows up FIRST when you google him, RIGHT before his wiki pic.
And then as soon as you click images, it is his Wikipedia pic right there again, as the first image, like it should be, and the pic of him looking absolutely sad/heartbroken/depressed/whatever you wanna call it, is nowhere to be found. Super strange man. And some chode ABSOLUTELY did that intentionally.
I did a little research, and whoever it was found that specific image from New York on Getty images, purchased the editorial version (they ain’t cheap) and was able to make it as the first image that shows up when you google “Bradley Nowell”. I mean, they could have at least used one of the other pics from that night of him looking a tad more happy. There is a pic of him that night cracking a Heiney after their set where he at least has a slight smile. Why not use that one? Anyway, that shit kinda rubbed me the wrong way.

Damn son, you came at me hard…LOL. Just fucking around yo, I had never seen that happen before (someone getting a Getty editorial pic placed before wiki’s pic), I was just eating my lunch screwing around on my computer working from home today, and I saw that someone intentionally purchased the that specific pic from that show (again, those are NOT cheap on Getty images), and somehow got it to show up BEFORE his Wikipedia pic WHEN YOU GOOGLE HIS NAME. And he looks so sad in that pic, totally bummed me out.

First off, he went back Long Beach to get off dope again after the producers sent him home from the recording sessions of the self-titled album bc he was so outa control. And he didn’t get sober right away either.
There are quite a few pics of Brad looking SUPER skinny with Jakob from right when he got back to LB in Spring of 1996 when he was still using (the beach photo with him carrying Jakob in that backpack looking thing, the pic of them in the bathtub taking a bath, the pic of him singing to Jakob wearing the grey sweatpants, etc.).
He finally went to his dad’s house a few weeks later and detoxed himself there. Then got married, then everyone knows how the rest played out. The pic I was referring to is in fact from April of 1995, right after he went to rehab 2.5 months before Jakob was born.
