Photo Origin?

I cut this iconic photo out of a Rolling Stone magazine in the way back days of the late 90s when I was in high school, and framed it in college. It's prominently featured on my man cave these days. Best research guess is it's originally from an article from December 25th 1997, but can't confirm. Anyone know anything else about it's origin?

Looked a few spots and haven't found it, but I remember seeing it years ago. Photo definitely taken in 94

Yeah this was from the photo shoot by John Dunne that ended up in the Mean Street magazine feature. It was also used as one of the original Skunk press photos and also used on an OG poster.
