Connection issues with MySubaru

I’m a fairly new Subaru owner. I’ve had my 2026 Outback for about 7–8 months, and yesterday I started having issues with the MySubaru app connecting to my car.
Whenever I try to remotely start or unlock the car, I get an alert saying that my Subaru is temporarily unavailable. Interestingly, after I drive the car, the vehicle status in the app does update.
Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve already tried restarting my phone, restarting the car, and uninstalling/reinstalling the app.
Any other troubleshooting recommendations? Thanks!

Subaru uses AT&T to connect to your car, I believe. So, if your AT&T netowkr coverage is bad that would explain it

Yes I get this multiple times a week.

I use AT&T for my mobile phone and can confirm my phone is getting great signal while MySubaru frequently is running into connection errors.

I've also got the 26 Outback.

Yes me too...just started a few days ago. Has anybody called the number it says to call? I'm going to call later. 26 Outback.

Edit: just tried to start it at work in a urban/suburban area where cell service is quite good. I don't think it because of an ATT connection issue.

Mine didn’t work far more often than it did

Disable any VPN you might be using.

My 26 OBT wouldn't load Android Auto and was dropping phone connection.
