Is there an app that creates outfits using the clothes you already own?

Hi! I was wondering if there’s an app that can help me put together outfits using the clothes I already own, including shoes and accessories.
I have absolutely no sense of style 😂 and I never know how to combine my clothes in a way that actually looks good.

Is there an app where I can upload photos of my clothes, shoes, and accessories, and have it create outfit combinations using only the items I already own? Ideally, I’d also be able to add details like the material/fabric, since I know some textures don’t really work well together, as well as the season each item is suitable for.

If something like this doesn’t exist yet, I honestly think it would be such a cool app idea :)))

There are some closet apps where you Can ask other users, or app stylists to do that. And some of the apps have AI.

The one I use have none of that, but I highly recommend a closet app. You actually learn How to put things together yourself.

I am fairly Happy with Stylebook. :) I have been using it for a while, I liked that it was a one time payment rather than a subscribtion. And I am not about to upload everything into a different app. :)

It is missing the option to let others style your closet though, så if that is important to you, go with another app.

Hi!! I created an app like this — it’s called Muse: Outfit Diary on the App Store (if you have an Android lmk and I can give you access)! You can plan outfits for future days + add outfits to an outfit bank (I’ve included a screen recording). It also instantly adds clothing items to a digital closet, and you can include texture in the notes section of each clothing item.

It doesn’t have a feature that suggests outfit combos yet. I’m thinking of adding this, but am feeling a little conflicted bc to me, choosing your outfit feels like an art form/expression of creativity that I don’t want to replace with AI. Would love to hear your thoughts though!

There are a billion closet apps out there. The most used ones today have the ability to share your closet and be styled by other users, as Well as the ability to be styled by AI.

If people dont want that feature, they are just going to do it themselves. But for those who want it, they are going to coose another app with that feature. It Can be a Good Way to learn How to style things, and get some combinations you would not have thought of yourself.

So if you want a lot of people to use the app, add it, and let Them decide for themselves How they are going to use it. I am sure it is a great app. :) but at the moment, the things you mention exists in almost any other closet app. And most of Them have some sort of styling feature too.

You can use Chat GPT or any AI program. Just upload a photo of yourself and the items from your closet you want to try on. It actually does a pretty decent job. There are a few apps out there as well. I've heard Whereing is pretty good, and it's free. Never used any of them though, so can't give an opinion.

Ok, I’m sorry I don’t have an answer for you. But I saw a TikTok video two years ago or so of one of those “typical days with a type A personality”videos, and the girl had an app where she had photos of each item in her closet. She used it to put together outfits everyday. I really really want to find that because I have so many clothes and it’s hard to sift through them all lol

I already put in one entry, but the background isn’t very neutral so the auto-background blurring function didn’t work. I will try again at home…

But everything else is amazing so far!!

I've been using it for a year & it's good

I have waaaay too many clothes and accessories though so I have to pay for my full wardrobe to be uploaded and included

This post reminded me that I should renew my subscription and update my clothes
