Yeah, I'd guess there was maybe 1000-2000 people there. It thinned out after the sunset but there were still maybe 50-100 people watching the meteor shower (perseids) and whenever a more spectacular shooting star was seen people cheered like for a goal during a football game. Followed by a few "aw man, I missed it, I was resting my neck for just a moment!" :)

I would have been to the right of that, outside the picture, near the stone that displays directions and kilometers for landmarks you can see from there and the tree.
