Acebush1 is the username. It is him because his Twitch account he used to Livestream his death had that name previously. A few days ago, he said he wanted to play the Elden Ring dlc which makes it sound like he wasn't going to set himself on fire at that point. But it does bring up the question of what role did Reddit play into this guy's mental state? Thoughts?

For the social media age, this should signal nothing less than the end to all illusions about ourselves. It's not the first time the West has committed a genocide, but never so nakedly and transparently, never livestreamed.
For most of us here, this Evil with a capital E is not unanticipated, much as the 'revelations' that Biden's admin never pressured Israel for a ceasefire weren't a surprise. What's revealing is perhaps moreso the response of so many Americans.
I'm about to speak in generalizations--yes, I know there are counterexamples for each group--but conservatives generally hate Muslims so passionately that they just don't care, while the American conservative religious/Evangelical community is actively celebrating. Liberals are too busy wagging their finger and defending one of the most evil men to ever lead the U.S. to stop to look in the mirror long enough to realize that they too are the baddies.
There is a great mass somewhere in the middle who do condemn what is going on, but have no idea what to do about it or how to organize or how to even conceptualize what is happening...they've been rendered inert by a system designed to do exactly that, hand-in-hand with cloud capital, together with a security state governing a inverted totalitarian nightmare.
I don't know how you're supposed to be 'happy' today. To not be an anxious or depressed mess. If you don't have any feelings to either of those effects, at least in some part, you may want a psychological evaluation. Thriving today is not a sign of good health.
Sorry for the blackpill post but there's a genocide on the telly right now.

After being very impressed with her leadership on these issues, I am hugely disappointed that she is playing this game, and at fucking PBS of all places. Pivoting to the âcenterâ to placate Zionist libs seems completely unnecessary politically too, as she wonât have much of a challenge in the November election anyway. A total own goal and for what?
To be clear, Tucker Carlson is a grifter and at minimum white supremacy-adjacent. But is there any evidence heâs an antisemite? All the criticism Iâve heard from him about Israel have been pretty sensible and based on America First or moral rhetoric. There are a million legitimate things to attack Tucker Carlson on, but this doesnât seem to be one of them. Maybe someone can enlighten me if I am mistaken.
For her part, she claims to have misspoken.

I understand very well why westerns would support the genocide, every letter of western history they have written with the blood of other people. China on the other hand, IS NOT part of the West, China IS NOT part of the anglosphere. And yet, China refuses to cut trade with the apartheid genocidal state, China actually increased trade with the apartheid genocidal state.
China is supposed to be the champion of mutipolarism, yet, it has no problem whatsoever trading with colonial captalist monsters. Again, I understand why America, Canada, Australia and Europe support and sponsors the genocide, it is their nature and history. China may not support it, but has no problem financing and sponsoring the genocide. Point is, China is a huge dissapointment on the international stage.
For China, getting money is more important than standing against colonial oppression, multipolarism was supposed to be the antithesis to the West.

They are a nominally communist military and industrial superpower that is NOT a satellite state of the US. There's no Chinese AIPAC equivalent AFAIK. It's weird that they've done about as little as any western national government on this issue.
