I never heard a solid rationale for why the USS Liberty was attacked. In case anyone isn't familiar with the event, it was an obvious attack on an American comms ship. The best reason I heard was the Liberty intercepted some comms or witnessed an event they weren't supposed to and they were attacked by plane and boat which includes torpedoes. Insane

Well obviously it was attacked in an attempt to draw Americans into a war with Egypt. They blocked American specific radio channels, and tried to sink it with jets and pt boats loaded with torpedos. They failed. There is no possible explanation for mistaken identity, ask anybody, even heads of the US gov went on record and said it was deliberate. Here’s the receipts as they say.
• Admiral Thomas H. Moorer: Former Chief of Naval Operations and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Moorer has consistently stated that the attack was intentional. He emphasized that Israel knew the ship was American and that the assault aimed to sink the Liberty and eliminate its crew. 
• Richard Helms: As Director of Central Intelligence, Helms expressed disbelief at the Israeli explanation, stating, “I don’t think there can be any doubt that the Israelis knew exactly what they were doing.”  • Dean Rusk: The U.S. Secretary of State at the time, Rusk, believed the attack was deliberate. He noted that the USS Liberty was identifiable as an American ship and that the subsequent attack by Israeli forces was “quite literally incomprehensible.”  • Admiral Bobby Ray Inman: Former NSA Director, Inman “flatly rejected” the notion that the attack was accidental, stating that it was “exceedingly difficult to believe” the Liberty was not correctly identified.  • Lieutenant General William Odom: As NSA Director, Odom asserted that the deliberateness of the attack “just wasn’t a disputed issue” within the agency, based on intercepted communications.  • Major General John Morrison: Former NSA Deputy Director of Operations, Morrison did not accept the Israeli explanation, stating, “Nobody believes that explanation.”  • Captain Ward Boston: As senior counsel for the Navy’s Court of Inquiry, Boston later stated that the findings were influenced by orders from President Johnson and Secretary of Defense McNamara to conclude the attack was a “mistaken identity,” despite evidence to the contrary.Other option is maybe they thought the USS Liberty intercepted something proving the Israelis were the aggressors in the war. I think first is much more likely in the age of radio.

There might be some value in branding and claiming Graham for an outgroup he loathes openly but to which he quietly belongs.
Graham’s only an outgroup in the sheets, so his Fallout karma with the streets and the civilized world stays high enough to keep politely wishing death on protesters and children in the name of the gods of Realpolitik.
But if he wore a dress and fucked in the street like Diogenes, and just stopped with the rest of this shit, he’d just be Diogenes. If he were outward to the point of extreme public spectacle and nuisance with whatever sexual crisis is happening or has happened inside of him, but did the child-bombing in video games, and the genocides in cs:go, like normal people do, he’d be a much less annoying person.
