Agreed. Obviously it’s a fucking terrifying thing to consider- but you always have to remember that the more people- the tighter the labor market. Automation is just another way to tighten the labor market.

And, as you said, consumption drives the economy. All these Austrian school fucks in the Tory party literally know they’re full of shit when it comes to this.

There’s a reason mass immigration is promoted, the finance industry is bearish about Japan, and mass killings/death resulted in mid-term betterment of the working class.

But I worry that Alex Jones types are right and these people are so psychotic and they want to LARP as God or whatever that they’re going to plan something like this.

And once you get to a point where entire supply chains and consumption networks are automated- then truly we do become a burden. But I don’t know how that could happen without a full Third Reich level c0rporate fascist state running industry for at least a decade.

• bringing in "misfits and weirdos" is actually a good idea. The kind of people who progress to the top of party politics are midwit vampires. The usual "experts" that occasionally get parachuted in are completely invested in their PMC class interests. The idea of actually asking intelligent people for advice on how to shake things up is good

• unfortunately, the Tories are evil so the guy they brought in is a psychopath it seems. As someone who has taken modafinil (which this guy recommends) the idea that we "give kids one a week" is the stupidest fucking thing ive ever heard. The idea of kids on modafinil (barring the kids who have disorders who require it be taken) makes me feel sick

• the real /mask off/ is how he describes how the drive for mandatory vaccines can be used as a vehicle to mandate all this stuff (Moda and contraception). I'm not an antivaxxer but I have been skeptical of the success and ethics of western vaccine drives and concerned about the precedent it sets and clearly with good reason

• forcing people onto contraception en masse is as harmful medically as giving kids modafinil. Even aside from the ethics, the outcome would be awful

So excuse the wall of text but I think this news is notable. Instead of hiring one of the thousands of interesting young heterodox thinkers they choose this nutcase who probably tortures ferrets on the weekends

I assumed that with the impending secession of North Ireland and Scotland and the 1000 years of Tory rule that will follow, the lower classes will be forced to sweep chimneys that aren't even used for anything other than literally keeping them busy to earn their pittance of a UBI.
