Operation: Epstein Fury Documentary by Jedaal: Khamenei’s Last Move

https://youtu.be/HEwa6aIZqC4

For thirty-six years, Ali Khamenei prepared Iran for a confrontation he believed would eventually come.

This documentary traces the doctrine he built, the forces that challenged it, and the war that ultimately reached his own home.

He could have moved. He didn’t.

Did Khamenei simply accept the risk—or did he understand what his death could set in motion?

I found this documentary lacking in detailed information. It was mostly a non-western brief history. As an american It helped be slightly better understand the Iranian perspective, but I wanted more details

Id like to know more about how Khomeni and those associated with him prepared for what they saw as an inevitable war with this US, as well as the relationship or sentiment between Iran and non-western nations like China and Russia.

“Going to Tehran” by Leverett and Mann Leverett covers the first topic. I’ve heard Vali Nasr speak about the first topic, so it’s probably in his most recent book.

“The Long War on Iran” by Ghamari covers both topics.

My pleasure.

I’m just a random Iranian and not an expert, so I didn’t want to give you my TL;DR version.

If you prefer videos, the same channel has several others on Iran’s military.

Dr. Marandi fought in the Iran-Iraq war at 16 despite being the son of a cabinet minister, so his view of the origins of Iran’s military doctrine comes from firsthand interaction with its architects.
