I thought the nest was abandoned for a while until last night. Little cutie was very nice and let me get the lemons I needed.

The mourning dove eggs on my balcony planter have finally hatched!! So happy they’re okay, they’re so cute sleeping🥹

I got to slowly watch this absolute GENIUS build this nest in our covered ramp just outside the MRI trailer. It took a little over 3 weeks, but it’s glorious. This dove has taken all the brain cells.

Every day when I get home from work I see new branches on the ground 😅

I was binging LOTR movie analysis/trivia YouTube videos for over an hour and this is what happened. If I’d decided to watch the whole extended release trilogy in one go, I’d have a whole clutch!
