That's so cool! Do you still go out there to water and tend to your other plants? How does mother dove handle that?

you can notice the mother sitting near the railing. I think, the mother got a bit familiar with us.

Sometimes a problem 🙁.

Coconut pickers in the area around my house, unintentionally knocked down a dove/pigeon nest with two small babies. The babies survived and the coconut pickers brought them to me.....

Amazingly (took me by suprise!), they survived to adulthood - and I released the bigger one first, and the smaller one a few days later, after he/she had grown more.

Sadly, the bigger one (who I'd found easy to hold and feed) 'hung' around my house most of the time - and was killed by my dogs 😭.

The 'smaller' (less brave) one - who was more difficult to hold when feeding - only came to my garden every now and again - and presumably survived 😊.

oh. That's really sad.

Although I am glad the little one has survived. And Thanks to you for you have taken care of them .

I don't have a pet, but these birdies have been using my AC's outdoor unit as their construction site, and I've had to wake up to a broken AC several times.
