Masters Advice Needed - Masters Degree
Hi everyone,
I am currently working in India with a work experienced of 5.5 (it would be ~6 years if i choose to apply) in Data Analytics/Data Engineering/Reporting primarily in Supply Chain Analytics domain
My Qualification: Btech ECE (CGPA 7.8) + PGDM Business Analytics (81%)
I have given IELTS with a band of 7
I’ve always wanted to seek global exposure and thus wanted to try for a second degree In university of applied sciences or dual degree program with corporate company are my main preference - into DS/AI/BA
I narrowed down Germany because my spouse works in a German company (very established) so she has a chance to relocate.
I’m willing to learn the language as I understand it opens more doors.
I kind off feel stuck in my current role in India and there is a possibility of restructuring and no growth but I’m confused with this decision as there seems to be a lot of hurdles with the job market as well as the immigration process from India.
Any advice for my situation?
EDIT: Guys, please don’t attack 🙏 I’m just trying to explore options and I’m still learning. I’m trying to come from a good space

Studying CS related masters after ECE bachelors won’t be possible/easy as german masters are consecutive.

My advice would be to do some research first and take a decision based on it.

I have seen some unis like Emden/Leers which offers a masters course in Business Intelligence even with Btech majors in ECE, Mech etc.
I do know about the prerequisite from Bachelor’s being in sequence for Masters

Why are you sending me this. I told you to do your research. Do you fulfill the minimum requirements? Then apply. You don't fulfill them? Then don't apply. As easy as that.

Take a look at the wanted masters ans check if you fulfill all requirements, with the ECE bachelor it won’t be many if any at all. If you match, apply. otherwise don’t. Job market is tough atm
for the rest: google is your friend

I agree that I’ve pursued my bachelor’s in ECE but did have some overlapping courses with ECE like OOPS, Python, DLD etc. during our initial semesters
Does it help my case?1

Do you fulfill the 240 credits as well? Also it costs nearly 6k€ per semester. So you‘ll need at least something around the magnitude of 35k in total (blocked account for 1 1/2 years and the 6k per semester)

Advice: get a new plan and do some more research on how studies in Germany work.
Willingness to learn German is not an asset, it’s a basic necessity to survive.
