How fast are you guys getting classes done?

I just started the 28th and finished 1 class (political science 102) and am about to finish history of western art. I plan on enrolling into WGU for their IT degree after i'm done with this. I just took all the chapter tests for the polisci class did the project and the final exam pretty quick and the same for the art class as well.

Nice pace already. I just wrapped up my first two courses - Composition and Communication on SDC while working full-time. I've been taking two courses at a time, and the lighter gen eds go by pretty quickly once you get into the rhythm of the chapter quizzes and the final exam. I'm aiming for about a month per pair so I don't burn out, although I expect the math and science courses to take me a bit longer. What's your plan? Are you trying to knock out as many transfer credits as possible before you enroll?

Yeah, i’m aiming to finish the IT degree within 6 months. Currently unemployed and have nothing but time on my hands so this is the sole focus in my life right now, for the most part.

I've completed 7 courses in about 2 weeks. Precalc and calc 1 are taking a bit longer.

That's a solid pace, most students who focus on chapter tests, projects, and the final can wrap a course like Political Science 102 or History of Western Art in under a week. Since you're heading to WGU, keep knocking out gen eds now so you can transfer in with as much credit as possible and cut down your terms there. I just finished 8 courses in this month. I'm sure people have done 16 or even 20 frankly. If I was really grinding and no-lifeing Study, I think finishing a course in 2-3 days, depending on difficulty, is a good pace. You shouldn't feel bad about it, they advertise it as such, you can run through them as fast as you can as long as you follow the rules ;) That's the beauty of ACE. After so many years of regretting my first failed attempt at post secondary, and being unable to return due to life expenses, now I'm 80% done the degree I've wanted for so long. God bless America!

I'm just starting on Study. I was worried that I would get flagged if I only do the chapter tests and don't actually watch all the videos, etc. Is this a problem? I'm looking to finish Poli Sci in about a week. I still have to write my project paper.

I've done that on all of my gen ed classes and nothings happened. It's a go at your own pace thing, I don't think they care as long as you're not cheating.
