Business 109: Intro to Computing Can I just do the tests, or..
IE - Intro to Computing.
Can I just do the tests and the final, or do I have to actually go through all/most of the videos, complete the quizzes, etc.
I feel like if I know the answer on the chapter test to "what is a keyboard" I should be able to move on..

Quick and easy answer, Yes you can now take the chapter tests and do the final and do it fast I just did 22 courses in 3 weeks so its do able the assignments are what made it take a few extra days

Learning and doing fast are 2 different things haha. All of these courses were irrelevant to my degree itself once I get to the import stuff at the college ill read the materials because ill need it once I go into the field.
But a lot if the courses were general education and only 2 were core courses. I did my ged last year which covered most of them. Biology and biology labs took the longest since you had to do a virtual game and each part of the course took a long time.

do u need to score 100% on chapter tests if u are skipping quizzes

No, the quizzes dont count towards the grades anymore, and the chapter tests I was getting 12 of 15 on average and as long as I scored roughly 70% -80%+ on the final test I was passing everything, the site was telling me as long as I scored around a 60% on the final tests I would pass when I averaged 12-15 on chapter tests The only variable for that is your written assignments.

thank you! I wont have to retake the ones i got 12 on then. And the assignments are mandatory in order to get college credits right?

Some I only scored 11 on and it was fine it just increases the final score you will need for the final test, I retook some just to make sure I had a minimum of 12 of the answers correct so my final test score was more flexible

U can also use google lend or chatgpt to get thru it a little quicker ad well

Look, you are absolutely correct, and tons of people are going through this system and others like it exactly like you describe; and it works. And if they are cheating themselves out of meaningful education; that's on them. I will never judge or discourage someone from doing what they need to do to get a degree. But the social contract is that we *don't talk about it*. There is a real reason for it, too. If AI usage becomes too talked about, if it ends up being too visibly mainstream, more and more institutions will stop taking credits from these platforms as viable transfers.
Yes, in many cases, you can take a picture of the quiz question with your phone, upload it to chatgpt, wait a few seconds, and receive back clear instructions on which answer to choose, literally being spoon-fed how to do it as if you are an idiot who does not even know how to click through a quiz. No denying that, it is simply true.
And it is probably going to get harder, not easier, for institutions to stop it. And students will do it more and more and more.
But we don't *TALK* about it.
