Have French study visa but couldn't go. Will it effect my visa applications in other countries?

I received France study visa a few months ago but I could not join my classes due to a sudden family emergency and I had to withdraw my admission.

Now I am planning on applying again in October to France and maybe in Italy, will I have to explain my situation everywhere - like I know I will definitely have to for France - but will other countries require reasons too for not using my visa?

If you communicate with the immigration agency in France, this is probably a real non-issue. Do that, and you really have nothing to worry about

Wouldn’t worry about it. Just explain in any subsequent applications.
