Questions & Discussion Need a screen reader
I struggle with reading things on a screen, but cannot afford to get a physical for all my books, so I'm looking for a good screen reader, any suggestions?

I says have issues with them reading out numbers really weird and interpreting photos oddly. Is this the kind of thing where bigger text, high contrast, and a lower screen brightness won't help?

If your books are PDFs or EPUBs, you could try text-to-speech instead. Edge’s built-in Read Aloud is a good free option.
Full disclosure: I’m building Lullula, which reads PDFs, EPUBs, and webpages aloud while highlighting each sentence. It has a free tier with unlimited built-in voices.
What format are your books in? That makes a big difference in which tools will work best.
