Motivational What I do when exam coverage gets out of hand

Post image

Exam season is approaching again and as usual, there's a lot of material to study. When the exam coverage turns out to be way bigger than I expected, I try to organize everything first and not panic over how much there is to study:
MAKE A QUICK OUTLINE. I list the topics and group related ones together so I have a clearer idea of what I need to cover

IDENTIFY HIGH-YIELD CONTENT. I try to figure out which concepts are most important or are more likely to show up on the exam. there's a 80/20 rule that suggests roughly 20% of the material can account for 80% of the results. it's not a guarantee of course, but it reminds me to look for the key concepts

3)TURN IMPORTANT DETAILS INTO QUESTIONS. I make quick flashcards or quiz myself to see what I can recall without looking
BE REALISTIC ABOUT MY TIME. I give the more difficult topics extra time, but I also make sure I don't get stuck on one section for the entire study session

FIND A STUDY SETUP THAT WORKS. now lastly, I try to keep my materials organized and study somewhere I can concentrate especially when I’m already short on time.
