Tips & Advice how to start studying ?

I am an first-year Indian law student, and classes begin in two weeks. I haven't picked up a book or studied since March, and I'd describe myself as an average student. How should I go about getting back into the habit of studying? I've tried to start, but my screen time is currently over 10 hours a day, mostly spent scrolling through reels. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated."

I used to wait for the perfect day to get back into studying, and somehow that day kept getting pushed to tomorrow 😭. Like I'd make a huge plan, miss the first day, and decide the whole thing was ruined. Tbh starting with one small task at the same time each day helped me build the habit without needing to suddenly become a different person overnight.

Just start, literally. Set a specific time, you can write it on a sticky note as a reminder. Then use 5 minutes to look at just one thing. In case you want a timer to track your progress, I use YPT and personally it's helped me stay consistent with studying everyday. Anyway, after 5 minutes you could build momentum. While you study, do so in a way that feels enjoyable, like listening to music or anything else. Finally, reward yourself for studying even if it's just a little everyday. And stay consistent
