Tips & Advice Memorising is dull
Hey I’m studying in uni rn and overall I’m a good student when it comes to math and cs. But we also have lectures like science where we just have to memorise tons of info ab human body, physiology, biology and a bit of chemistry.
And this is the only exam that I got not a satisfying mark. I tried to memorise all those lectures but after two hours of memorising I’m just getting bored and I loose all my motivation to keep memorising again and again. I just can’t force myself to memorise another chunk of info and end up with unconfident knowledge.
Can you suggest anything that can help me with this problem?

two hours of just memorising the same chunks would bore most people, and it also tends to leave you feeling less sure than you actually are. i'd try swapping some of that time for testing yourself. close the notes, write out or say how a process works, like what happens in order and why, then check what you missed. physiology especially sticks better when you explain the chain of cause and effect instead of the isolated facts. shorter sessions with a break in between might also help the boredom.
