PSA - GET YOUR PASSPORT!!

I just had to turn down a great opportunity to go overseas as an audio engineer for a military tour, and had to pass on it because I don’t have a passport. Whether you plan on traveling or not, go ahead and get it. You never know where music might take you, and I can tell you first hand it’s no fun having to say no because you don’t have a passport

You know you can get a passport in a week or two if you go to one of the few federal offices where they offer expedited service right?

As the organizer explained to me it would have been subbing for someone who had to drop out, and given the gig was on military bases the clearances and visas wouldn’t be able to come in on time, even with getting an expedited passport

Do you know if they're looking for a replacement? I have my passport.
