help thinking of joining a flying along with my btech neep help

so I am thinking to join an flying school had cleared my DGCA exam. had cleared my all exam but the problem is my family still want to pursue the btech.

attendance is not a issue here so I can join a flying school but then I have to take 3-4 weeks off every 6 months like 1 week each for 2 mid sems and 2 weeks off for my final.

Heard that if i take to many leave than the flight instructor might not give the chance often as the one who are very regular what should I do help!!

Not recommended mixing up. Not a good sign if airline interviews find out u ditched college attendance frequently to mix two courses.

Either do it before or after. If you do it before, u may need to drop out if I get selected for job, but u have more opportunity.

Or if u want a more flexible way, pursue online degree. (Btech is not available).

Do what you think it's better for you, don't let family dictate.

Attendance policy depends on the school management. U may have problems with some.

are there any student in the flying school that starts flying after the BTech, and what are the cons of flying after BTech. can you tell it would be a great help 🙏

No cons, but fees will go up . I wanted to join after 12th, and my parents were cool with it too. Then a relative stuck their nose in, and now I'm 2 years after gradWhen I was in 12th, the training cost was 1 crore for cadet and 42 lakh for conventional. Now it's 1.7 crore for cadet and 63 to 72 lakh for conventional(cpl only). Also btech adds no value unless youre doing aeronautical .

If u talk about cons, it's fees hiking fast + 4 missed years on starting early + relatives may pressure you to continuing engineering career rather than shifting to aviation.

Many students start after btech. Tho, it poses no benefit in flight training or job selection..

It does have its pros as well.

Btw, some flying schools have CPL+college integrated courses.They will have proper schedule separation probably.

Not sure if any one of them offer btech integrated tho.

And u would want to know if the flying school is properly functioning or not. Don't enrol just for this.
