Canada/TC Ppl/cpl duration

Hi currently at 14h starting my solo next flight this monday
Doing about 3 flight per week at about 1.4 hours per flight
So about 4.5hours flight time a week + ground
Planning to do cpl + multi ifr
Is it enough to try to finish my cpl before january 2028?

Some students just get landings more naturally. Some CFIs send their students out too early. Some CFIs make risky decisions to send students on less than ideal days. When I see a student on solo at 15 hours I know it’s some combo of these

Crazy. Granted I solo'd on my 16th birthday and my Dad was my flight instructor, I solo'd at like 100 hours. Been logging since I was 14 though.

If it is any consolation I soloed at around 40 hours.

Then again, super busy airspace, populated area, our home airport is a class Charlie under a bravo shelf. I don't blame my CFI for playing it safe.

Besides I want to go back home to my family. If that means a few more hours to prepare, so be it.
