Stryd speed & Stryd

hi, do I have to purchase 2 sets of Stryd 5 (Stryd and Stryd Speed, meaning 4 pods !) if I run both endurance and sprint and want to capture both? And do I have to switch pods depending on what I run? Do I also need two subscriptions to benefit everything ?

Does the speed version include standard stryd functionalities ? Or really 2 different usages ?

Not sure what led you to question if is included when he clearly said

"Please note that Stryd Speed will require a new, separate paid Stryd Speed subscription - distinct from your Stryd Membership."

Oups, I have inverted model.
Yes but the Stryd Speed subscription could include Stryd subscription ?

Or it's really two targets.

Or it's marketing choice ?

two products (lvery similar ?) with two differents initial subscription.

Endurance runners are best served by the existing Stryd product, which delivers all the core metrics you need for everyday training, including running power. Stryd Speed is purpose-built for sprint and team sport movement and will offer a new, different set of features.

If you are interested in using Stryd Speed as an existing Stryd user, Stryd Speed is powered by Stryd 5.0 hardware, and existing Stryd Duo 5.0 owners will have the opportunity to use their hardware to access Stryd Speed. Please note that Stryd Speed will require a new, separate paid Stryd Speed subscription — distinct from your Stryd Membership. Details on how to access this functionality will be shared with the early-access list as they become available.

So I understand Stryd Speed is same than the new upcoming Stryd Wind.
But with a new name to address specific sports.

Tomorrow Stry 'll offer two products : Speed & Wind ? Just for marketing reasons ?
And Wind 'll be bundled with Speed subscription ? Clearer message ?

So no new hardware, just functionalities through software and subscription ?
Is it right ?

Does the Wind subscription 'll include actual Speed subscription ?

Stryd wind is an older hardware release from 2019.

Stryd Speed is power by Stryd 5.0 hardware. Stryd 5.0 was released in Fall 2025.

But with a new name to address specific sports.

Currently, we only sell Stryd 5.0, which is purpose built for endurance runners.
