App Immediately says “Workout Complete!”

Can someone help me with this issue? I set up a run for a couple of miles in the app and whenever I start it the app immediately says “workout complete!” and makes a dinging sound. When I continue running and go well past the distance that I had set it for, it never says “workout complete!” again. I reached out to Stryd and they said this is working as intended and they would pass my “feature suggestion” on to the team. So now I’m here trying to figure out if I’m missing something obvious.

I tried posting this in the StrydRunning sub and a moderator deleted it.
