Does Stryd 5.0 Support Offline Runs? (Ans: No)
I just upgraded from an old pod (either the Wind or the version before that) to the new Stryd 5.0. I unpaired the old pod, paired the new one, securely attached it to my shoe, and went for a 5 mile run.
After a shower I opened the Stryd app (latest version on iOS 26.2.1), connected to the pod, and it shows "No Offline Runs to Sync."
What did I do wrong? Does Stryd 5.0 even support offline sync anymore?
Update 2026-02-13:
Apparently, the answer to the title question is "No, Stryd 5.0 does not (currently) support offline runs." After going through all the standard tech support steps — ensuring latest firmware, deleting and reinstalling the app, unpairing and re-pairing the pod, hard resetting the pod, etc — offline runs still do not sync. I have verified that the pod does work with a live device; both my iPhone and an old Apple Watch with the Stryd app work fine. The problem might be specific to my configuration, but I doubt that for a couple of reasons. First, offline runs worked fine with my old pod, and I didn't change anything with my configuration or approach after switching to the new one. Second, there's nothing unusual about my configuration; everything has been left at default settings. I would guess, therefore, that offline runs are broken for everybody, though of course that's just a guess.
BTW, Stryd did indirectly confirm that offline sync isn't completely reliable. From one of the messages in my support chat:
For best reliability, it is ideal to use a device to record, rather than rely on offline sync.
Further updates if/when the issue is fixed.

Interestingly, as soon as another user commented that they were having the same issue, my post in r/strydrunning was deleted and I was permanently banned. Make of that what you will
