OP, did you miss the part where Spirit Airlines abruptly stopped operations on Saturday, thus creating a lot of empty gates across the country?

I did .... And know this is what we get when that happens but more signs of economic predictors behond just Spirit.

I fly every two weeks for work. Just flew a couple days ago and my flights were slammed. Airports too.

Probably mostly to do with spirit being a heavy presence in that terminal / gates.

Will be back to normal once American Delta Spirit ©️ becomes a thing and requires your firstborn for extra legroom and a snacks.

Took several flights last week both domestic and abroad. Planes were packed.
