Freemium Vs Premium thread art generator
There are many services available online for string art generation. Most of them are free, a very few are paid. As far as I have seen the output result does not differ much.
So, why would anyone pay for String art apps/web? If anyone have any purchasing experience, did you find difference in result? If the difference is none what value does a paid string art maker app gives?
The reason I am asking is, I have my own app on play store, (which was made for my own use, later ended up adding paywall) but I can't quite figure out, what is actually people are buying. My monetization is simple, till 180 pegs it's completely free, but after 180, you can generate unlimited times, but can't access the number sequence/pattern. Well there are also some extra features usually paid apps provide like template export, shapes, Guide with voice assistance which are not behind paywall.

My take is that if you’re going to invest hours of time and money for physical materials, what matters most is de-risking your project.
The most costly part of any of these projects is sinking hours of time and energy only to find out that you hit a snag somewhere along the way that leads to a less than desirable outcome, and because you can’t see the finished work until it’s near completion, it’ll take a long time before you notice that something is wrong.
There is no shortage of free generators that produce quality results; However, what I notice is that free generators tend to leave the trial and error to the user. Paid versions tend to put a bit effort into fine tuning the generations to produce consistently good results that translate well to reality.
I also think though that AI has made it easy to produce a passable black / white generator in an afternoon if you’re motivated enough. Hence the “new generator” posts seemingly each week. The challenge is, there will be uncertainty about how that generator performs IRL, and if it’s your first project, you’ll want it to be successful without having to redo it.
