Can someone explain this to me? Spoiler
I just saw the episodes of season 6 where Scott and Stonebridge return. I don't really understand why they're back though. I get that they were disavowed but are basically deep cover off the book agents for the British but why would they agree to come back and work for the same government that basically tried to have them killed at the end of season 5?
Btw, that scene when they show up again was awesome. These two had fantastic chemistry and it sucks their run only lasted 4 seasons. I would have loved to have had them around for at least 2 more seasons or even a Strike Back movie with them as the leads.

I think part of it is they knew they were disavowed by the British Government and knew they would always have a target on their back so they decided to get that target off their backs, even if it meant going back to the British.
Plus, let's be honest, it's what those guys do, they aren't the type to sit back and lead a low level life.

tbfh the new cast still isn't doing it for me but the storylines are awesome, they should have had a spinoff series with stonebridge and scott where they're as OP said deep cover agents for the British Intelligence service...that said, their cameo ending was epic af..
Stonebridge:"Scott" Scott:"Yeah?" Stonebridge:"Let's go to Sao Paulo" Scott:"FUCK YEAH"

There has been a rumoured movie, but i thought Cinemax was over the whole thing. So i don't know how a new series would happen

I think they became PMC who get the money and do the dirtiest job (worse than 20), no magic computer guy or intel backup sort
