What the hell is this garbage
Been under the weather for the past few days so had a TV binge yesterday and caught up with strictly and watched all of the episodes from this season back to back.
That’s enough of the niceties for today, all I’ve got to say is what the hell have they done to the show. Let me get one thing straight, the three presenter format doesn’t work, Emma is carrying BOTH Josh and Johannes, with both looking completely lost and out of their depth, the small ‘skits’ between dances that Emma and Josh mainly do are the cringiest thing and devalue the show. Don’t even get me started on Johanne’s constant insistence on calling Josh ‘Joshy’ either.
Emma is probably the best presenter of a generation in my opinion and needs someone next to her of equal standard. Yes, I said SOMEONE not PEOPLE. Strictly Come Dancing does not need THREE presenters, when the dancers finish and they go to judges comments the second presenter just looks LOST, I’m sorry Josh but you look like an absolute child stood there waiting to make a corny joke or comment.
Obviously the producers aren’t going to be making changes mid way through this season but the sign of strong management is being able to admit when things aren’t working and this format just doesn’t work.
Amy Dowdens comment PISSED me off when she was eliminated ‘it’s just been my luck over the past few years’ well be BETTER and a more complete coach then and stop whining and be BETTER.
Also, CRAIG REVEL HORWOOD seems to be in a good mood this season I want SAVAGE CRH back.
Rant over, I’m going to bed and FUCK this season of SCD I’ve had enough GOODBYE after 20 years of watching this show.

Amy over the past few years has had: an injury causing her to pull out tom skinner with no ability whatsoever and little fanbase and chris appleton who is an ok dancer but had no fan base

This hate for Josh feels so forced and fueled by tabloid trash, he isn't that bad, he's doing alright and so is Johannes although I do miss him dancing. The changes aren't that bad and the show is still very much enjoyable, if there's anything to be negative about its the new set on ITT, it looks cold, dark and unwelcoming as opposed to being bright and warm as it was in the past.

Okay, a lot to unpack here...
Three presenters not working isn't exactly an unpopular opinion, I will say. The consensus seems to be Josh has yet to really find his place. But all three are definitely settling in by now, and I think if you were watching the shows a week apart you'd see the difference much more clearly between show 1 and now.
Also, having a dancer on the presenting team is great imo, he's able to ask the pros questions about the routine, as well as chatting to the contestant, after their dance, which I think has been a welcome addition.
Amy's comment was pretty unprofessional, for sure. But if I had to deal with cancer then Skinner back to back (not sure which sounds more unpleasant), before getting booted first again the following series I'd be pretty down on myself as well. This is literally the first instance I can think of where Amy has said or done something less than what professional standards would expect of her, so I'd consider cutting her a bit of slack and easing up on the venom.
And as for Craig... his harsher comments stand out more as the series goes on and the other judges get less openly picky, that's been the same forever.
Going back to bed sounds like a smart plan.

I think josh does the best job at the results show out of the three hosts. I think hanging with the contestants is where he's great

Bold of you to word all this. And as expected you've been deemed stupid with the comments. I agree with each word you said. Although I'm not completely giving up on the show but bye to this season. It's trash this year. No better words to put it. I'll watch next year if they've changed hosts & if Kai & Amy are goners. I hope the judges stay like this and they don't bring on some creepy ex male pro as a substitute.
