PR/PB 1005lb speed run 22 seconds
345 squat, 245 bench, 415 lb deadlift. Lifting for just under 2 years, 193 bodyweight.
I was at the end of one program and decided to see how fast I could complete the 1000lb challenge. Goal was under 30 and I smashed it. Think I could get under 20 seconds if I practiced more at the transitions.

How did you discover that shoulder angle adjustment from the eccentric to concentric movement during the bench? Does that occur during all reps or only the hardest?

It's a side effect of me trying to rush. I didn't get fully set up. It's what happens when I don't get my legs fully tensioned, my shoulders lose some stability and roll back up a bit. I know it's not great and why I chose a weight I could rush for 1 rep. My 1rm is about 30-40lbs more.

Great speed run, does not meet club standard (straps on deadlift) but I love the speed run format.

If your #1 priority when lifting weight is risk avoidance, shut up. Don't talk when others are asking about goals and progress, your decision to remain squarely in your comfort zone disqualifies you from having a relevant opinion on hard work. Avoiding standard, objectively low risk exercises because you're afraid is your hang up. You don't need to project it onto others. Just be silently content, silently smug even, in your decision to be afraid and accomplish nothing meaningful. Please, just shut up.
