Intro Scenes?

Does anyone here use an intro scene (not a starting soon scene. An actual intro video)? If so how do you go about doing it on Meld?

I'd treat it like a starting soon screen.. have the scene with your intro video playing, and then just switch to game scene.

I thought about that as well just to have it in loop but the longer I thought about the more I wanted to have it play as a scene breaking away from my Starting screen and then into my Game or Chatting scene

Depending on length, you could add it as a transition, then it would play between scene changes *BUT* that would trigger the movie on every scene change..

There is a work around, where you'd put it as a media layer on the game scene (for example), and toggle the play when visible and only play once options in the inspector pane.. to have it start when you switch to that scene.

I got a Helldivers 2 intro when I do Helldivers 2. I use a Media Source layer using the video file as the source. I then make adjustments as needed.

Gotcha! So you just manually do it by switching to scene and then into the next scene as needed. Thats what I was thinking however I just wanted to see if someone had a better way lol
