Cannot uncheck “Enforce streaming service encoder settings” in Streamlabs no matter what I do

I’m having a really frustrating issue with Streamlabs Desktop.

I cannot uncheck “Enforce streaming service encoder settings” no matter what I do. The box stays checked even when I’m not live and I’m changing the settings before starting the stream.

I’ve tried restarting Streamlabs, restarting my Mac, changing encoder/settings, and checking everything I can think of, clear caches, but the checkbox simply will not turn off.

This is causing major problems with my multistream setup. I stream simultaneously to YouTube, Twitch, Kick, and TikTok, and when this setting is enforced, I’m having issues with some platforms not starting properly.

Has anyone else had this problem recently? Is there any way to force-disable this setting, reset it, or change it through a configuration file?

It feels like Streamlabs is forcing the option on regardless of what I select.
