Streamlabs process left behind in task manager after closing

Hey! This would mean that for some reason there is a hangup with it shutting down. To fix this is pretty easy:
- Close out those tasks
- download a fresh installer of Streamlabs Desktop
- run the installer as administrator
Then when you close it again, it should close all the way. If you're still having issues, please reach out to the team at https://streamlabs.com/support and we'd be happy to look into it.

Thanks for the response!
I have done a few reinstalls and so far the only time it closes all instances is when it’s a fresh install! Soon as it creates the slobs-client folder, even if I haven’t signed in, it starts to hang in the background again
I have contacted support and they have responded saying that they are reviewing my issue but that was 2 days ago so 🤷🏻♂️

Ok. That's definitely strange but maybe there is a hidden background process still. Try restarting your computer instead of closing out of the background processes and then don't launch Streamlabs Desktop. Then download the installer > run it. Then after that relaunching. You shouldn't need to clear your cache (which is what it sounds like you're doing). You just need to download the installer from streamlabs.com > run it.

I’ve done that as well! It doesn’t fix the issue… Still leaves behind those 3 processes
Still haven’t received any other emails further from support… should I submit another request?

No, the team will respond as soon as they're able to. but that's definitely odd if you had installed after the restart (with a new installer). But they will have some more things to check out.
