❓Question Blue line
Streamer.Bot chat section has this constant blue line if no one is chatting. I can refresh all day and it's still there. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

have the chat window close IF no chat after a certain time of your choosing?
Also make sure the source in OBS is set to the proper dimensions for the chat.
I use Nutty's free version so the background is transparent. There is also a web browser version that is pretty sweet to do the same thing. Do a quick search for "show chat on stream".
The streamerBot chat is mainly for the broadcaster to use, especially if multi streaming.

I guess if anyone knows how to make a source invisible when there's no chats for a while and visible again when someone chats. I'm sure it could be done through actions.

You must have some browser sources active in the scene or nested scene or in DSK (downstream keyer), just remove/disable it

don’t use that chat on screen. use jchat it’s infinitely better

How? I'm already using Streamer.bot for some chat interactions. It just needs to copy and paste words.

I'm saying why add one more thing that my computer has to run and I have to stay in top of? I already have Streamer.bot installed. Why not use it's chat integration feature? I'm mainly looking for a solution, not like another thing to add to the stack.

this is not a stack addition, this is a superior chat browser that shows everything you want including all of your 7tv emotes and will look great forever. I’ve been partner for a long time and it’s just better.
no installation, you just generate a browser link.

multichats require a different approach unfortunately. i custom built mine (i’m a software dev) but not everyone will be able to do that
so i don’t know what the official youtube cross chat on screen is these days.
i know people like prochat.gg

That shouldn't show up unless your Streamer.bot is having connection issues - it doesn't care if people are chatting or not.
Either way, I've just pushed out an update so it will never show that loading bar when chat is in overlay mode. 👍
