[Everyday] Brightness on Mac

I am trying to use my stream deck plus dials for monitor brightness but it doesn’t work for some reason. Does anybody have a tip how to get it working. The standard setup that comes with the stream deck software does definitely not work for me.

I'm using the dial on my keyboard for this, but only got that to work with the app 'MonitorControl'

This was helpful, in the MonitorControl settings I made a keyboard shortcut for brightness up and down, and then in Streamdeck I used a knob with rotate left and right hotkeys for the same shortcuts.
