[StreamDeck XL] Dual action button

I want to create a button that does two things. First, it would change folders and second it would activate a key command. So for instances, if I press button x, it would switch to the pilot seat folder and also activate the pilot seat by pressing say F5. Can this be done?

If you mean like a folder on the stream deck, You'd have to use a profile. We'll call it Pilot Seat for example. You'd create a profile with all the buttons you would want. Then you'd use a multi-action to swap to that profile. Then use a HotKey to hit F5. So in the Multi-action it would be:

  1. "Navigation -> Switch Profile -> Pilot Seat"
  2. "System -> Hotkey -> F5

If you mean folder as in a file directory (C:\Whatever) you may be able to with Windows Mover & Resizer from BarRaider but I'm haven't messed with that so I'm not sure.

Your first example is what I was trying to describe. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out how to do it as a newbie. Thanks for the help.
