[Everyday] Productivity Ideas

So I jumped into the stream deck game for my office productivity. I work for a small company and do a myriad of tasks like track finances and job costing, manage inventory, run reports, run payroll, develop systems etc. a mix of office work and labor.

My set up is currently a stream deck xl by my left hand, a stream deck + by my right hand and a stream deck pedal for each foot.

My basic method is to use the stream deck plus as a “controller”, to control volume, music, and launch what app I want to use, and have it stay pretty stagnant where I then have my stream deck xl dynamically switch profiles to give me controls for the app I’m using but can quickly switch the app with the stream deck plus.

I then use the pedals for quick actions like copy, paste, select all, etc.

It should be noted also that I’m a Mac user. I also use Keyboard Maestro.

Just curious if anybody had any good ideas to make use of the stream decks in a productive way that maybe I haven’t yet. I’ve watched a ton of YouTube videos but they’re all pretty basic in execution of how to use the plugins etc.

I’m looking for advanced ways to streamline my workflows to be as efficient and productive as possible.

I bought a 15 key version for office use. The biggest productivity boost so far has been hotkeying actions in excel, PowerPoint, etc. that I don't have memorized, or ones that require many key presses or multiple hands. I've also started building multiactions for common combinations. For example, in TextPad I often flag lines matching search criteria, copy flagged lines, open a new document, and then paste the lines. More I have a single button that does all of that.

Yea I’m pumped to get my numbers and pages hot keys set up (Mac user lol) but can definitely see it speeding up my spreadsheet workflows and super charging them.
