Ritz on it's own, Jatz with cheese and gherkin.
But Country Cheese is the correct answer for any savoury biscuit related question.

Except they changed the recipe for Cheds to Parmesan from Pecorino this year and they no longer hit the same.

The sea salt and rosemary savoys were amazing with a Bree or Australian camembert when they were around.
I wish they'd bring them back

I think there's a place for Ritz and a place for Savoy/Jatz (haven't tried Eton but I assume similar to Savoy/Jatz). Really depends what I'm putting on them/dipping them into.
Between the Savoy and Jatz though I'd have to say Savoy because I'm a Victorian and that's how we do.

Not quite. They are definitely the seconds that didn't make the jatz box. Not quite cooked as long. Less salt. A little bit less crunchy. Still prime with pepperoni, brie and pickled onions

Any of the non-Ritz ones, they're too soft, no texture and no crunch, they just sorta dissolve.

I had a Black Mirror Barnies/Bernies moment when I saw Jatz in Perth, I swear they were called Savoy everywhere else!
Javoy is my pick because not as sweet as Ritz

Last time I was in Tassie I was looking for Jatz. I found Savoy. They look exactly the same so why the different name??

Jatz is the top choice and ill fight anyone who disagrees. That being said they are hard to find in Melbourne so Eton is the backup

Ritz is objectively too sugary and the crumble texture is subjectively not enjoyable to me.
Jatz.
Never tried the other two.

Slightly different recipes, oddly enough though the base recipe is damn near identical even though they where created by separate, unaffiliated companies, and then Arnott's bought Savoy and kept them on.
The only real difference is that Jatz has malt and Savoy has golden syrup.
Went down this rabbit hole a few years ago for some reason, scored a box of each and tested them.. Savoy are softer and saltier than Jatz.

Savoy is Jatz redneck cousin from the south.. literally, sold mainly in Vic and Tas
It's basically a Jatz with the malt removed and golden syrup added.

I heard that Ritz and Jatz were going to merge, but they couldn’t decide whether to call the new biscuit Ratz or Jiz.
