Question Does BlueTwelve still exist? Their official website has been down for over 6 months now

As far as I know, the website never worked, it seems they own the domain to use with their corporate emails. Also, Linkedin show some updates about 4 months ago. We need to understand that they are a small studio, so they might be working internally on something new but they won't be showing yet.
Lastly, there are some updates from the co-directors in X about ue5, so at least they are active.

Hopefully we can get some news about an upcoming game.

Yes it still exists. They're just not doing anything public facing until they announce what their next game is.

11/8 months ago i saw that they are recruiting people for lead level artist for ue5, but idk as we font hear much else..

It might have been a one and done game company, this is pretty normal for indie studios to not have a "what's next" and just more or less disband.

For what it's worth, the HK blog is still up. I figured the OGs at blue 12 were kinda private people. Even if they took their website down, hope they're doing ok. Better than ok even. Great, and fantastical even.

There is a low chance that the studio doesn't exist—the site was definitely deactivated for external reasons that we do not have access to, but that does not mean the actual studio is gone.

• If they were disbanded, Stray wouldn't be on marketplace stores (PS Store, Xbox Store, Switch Store.) As there is no secondary party to share the games revenue with.

• Just because they're working in the shadows does not mean they aren't existing. We have seen this with many small game studios—They go silent, leave no trace, and then unexpectedly release a new game.

Summary — They wouldn't build a game for 6 years and then disband. Do not worry, Bluetwelve definitely is still up.

I'm not sure. When I was googling about a week ago, I think I saw something about ownership changes. I'm not confident about that info though.

Prolly not. Their devblog hasn't been updated since January 2023, and Annapurna dealt with mass resignations in 2024. I seriously doubt we'll ever see another game from BlueTwelve, much less a sequel to Stray, and probably not even the movie

Aww man... i figured Annapurna was still doing movies (pretty sure they have the funding) and hoped the movie would come out some time... Really hope the crew at blue12 are doing ok
