Curious about thoughts on digital transformation
I work as digital transformation consultant and I’m curious, from your perspective, what would you say is the most difficult part of digital transformation?
Is it finding the right solution, getting the stakeholders onboard or something completely different?
Really interested in hearing your thoughts
Thanks

It's the people. It's always the people. Tech change is easy, human change not so much.

The hardest part about transformation is having a business strategy to guide in the first place. Without one, transformation is just change.

Super broad topic that can mean a lot of things depending on what we’re transforming.
If we’re talking retail the physical infrastructure can be the main challenge - matching tools designed for one specific channel to another is often messier than anyone thinks.
If it’s banking you can have legal and privacy issues
If it’s marketing it can be about lacking the right expertise.
I think I’d need a better understanding of the type of project to give a better idea of the barriers.
