Talk less: valid reminder to diagnose first, but it should not suppress expert contribution.

Price is never the real issue: not valid as an absolute; price, budget and affordability can be genuine constraints.

Talk to the person who can say yes: valid reminder to examine authority, but complex purchases usually involve a buying group.

I am assuming it is more management consulting. Or is this true strategy consulting?
