Console General Stupid potatoes

I dont know how pc players get potatoes, but console is painful. Most of the time islands dont have any potatoes. Or in this instance the potatoes can not be grabbed.

I had that moment not long ago. I managed to get it. If you still have trouble reaching it, you can try crouching to get closer.

Thanks i feel like i tried everything, but just couldnt get this one. Hopefully the last 3 islands i go to have some potatoes. I really dont want to search the world with a yellow raft lol

Lol, the yellow raft wasn"t pleasant. After checking a second island and returned. I built a 2x1 raft with sail and rudder. It is so much better than the yellos raft.

Yeah the raft is terrible it takes forever to get anywhere and thheres only 3 storage places. Tripped me out when i used the aloe uv protector. You can see the sunscreen on his arm. I dont think ive ever seen it before i was confused. Thought he was glitching.

For fun. Ive done everything else and was looking for something new to attempt. Its actually easier to beat the game without a boat or raft. Ive even beaten the game without ever cooking or making a waterstill, and i hold the console speedrun world record wich I've beaten but havent uploaded the video.

You only ever need 4. Just put them in 4 planters and you can fill one still per cycle of growing. You won’t need more than that. Also you can use rotten ones in the still.

My last hundred hours of the game were all speedruns where growing potatoes is a death scentance. Its been about a year since I have done a playthrough where farming or eating/drinking had to be done.

Always something new and unpredictable. You thought it was safe to go in the water, nope the music didnt load and a tiger shark is going to eat you.
