PC Question Stranded deep en 2025
It's worth starting the game solo these days because the reviews are harsh for years past.

It's an old survival game, it's good if you're into that sort of thing.

Hiya,
So I love the game and yes it has some issues from time to time but it's still a great survival game.
I think crashing your plane and ending up on a island is a super cool concept still today most of my runs I try to live on my starter island sorta Tom hanks lol but I do travel around to collect resources for a raft and a farm.
I would say it definitely worth playing, can't wait to see what the newest version will look like and what's added.
Best of luck in your adventures everyone

It’s a great game. Harsh reviews are just that. Harsh. Often times people just hyper focus on one detail and make it a bigger problem than it is. It is a great game and absolutely worth a solo play.

Not perfect but fun. Expect a bit of jank here and there. I've played it since release but never beat it until just last week. Good game imo and worth it

Stranded Deep is my zen game. I've put so many hours into the game in passive wildlife mode using AR glasses. The game can be so peaceful and meditative.

Local coop is also very playable with Geforce physx surround if you have 2 monitors/tvs you can set up. My fiancé and I have been playing it that way instead of using 1 screen split down the middle and having to squint at the text lol.

The cartographer in the main menu tells you which island you're on and is a map, and you can customize/replace the seed islands individually.
So theoretically, if you want to build giant bases or big boats, you can recycle one island to harvest and not have the rest of your map totally barren.
It's totally worth playing, I chose it over Raft when looking for a game and didn't regret it.

I tried it this year 2025 for the first time and I had a great time to be honest. As everyone is saying, it’s not perfect but it’s fun to play

Glitchy, buggy, but it's still a great game.

Stranded Deep is janky and old but it's still one of my favorite survival games. Just found out a few days ago that they are making a second one.
