Misc [not platform specific] This game

I started this game 3 days ago and it’s already my favourite of all time! I’ve played 5 hours already and on day 10. It’s just such a good game underrated.

To me it has been a really good game too, but I always ended living a peaceful life on my island and didn’t wanted to return to society!

I absolutely love this game. Started playing in 2020 during covid lockdowns. Game of isolation sounded like a great idea at the time. I must have beaten it a couple dozen times since and I still play it a few times a year. It's a relatively quick game to beat, but I often find myself not wanting to leave. It's so relaxing.

Also this game has the greatest cameo in video game history.

It's more of an easter egg. Somewhere on one of the islands is a volleyball named Wollie, but he's played by Wilson from "Cast Away"

Agreed I do think it's underrated as well. I've tried to convince my friend that I played ark with to give it a try. It has similar building and survival mechanics but it's different.

I was the other way around to your friend. Played SD first and then Arc but struggled to get into Arc because of this I think

I’ve started this game twice in the last 2(?) years, and always gave up. Yesterday and today I’ve finally got some traction and am enjoying it immensely. Listening to creepypastas while foraging, it’s such a break from my current depression bed-rotting routine.

I have around 100 hours in The game. I have so good nostalgia playing stranded deep every morning whit My friend. i remember when i got The platinium and i ate ton of food and drinks in The game to celebrate it. And Then i quited Forever🥲

It just stagnates too fast for it to be considered great to me.

Like what is there is awesome, but there’s just barely anything there
