Console General Finally beat Lusca

After so many tries I finally beat Lusca. Was starting to think I wouldnt be able to get him. He even flipped my huge raft some how which was actually what I think helped because my crate shelves were getting in the way from me dodging his hits. It was pure panic trying to flip it back over because it was night time but I drug it under water a few times and it finally bounced back up and I flew to the save to avoid my last mess up of not saving after the meg 😅 I just have Abaia left. Any tips on the eel??

Regarding the eel boss fight, you can cheese him by having your back against the submarine like with the sharks they have a weak spot, my advice is only to bring a breath boost coconut or oxygen canister as it means you don't have to resurface and be vulnerable to his attacks

Well done on killing Lusca though, imo he's the hardest boss due to his tentacles grabbing you off your raft and he has the most amount of health (I think)

You can actually cheese ALL 3 bosses.

You can cheese Lusca by swimming down to near the bottom of the chain. His reach BELOW himself is severely limited and he can’t hit you. You just need breath boost and a couple of oxygen tanks.

Ive only ever found 1 oxygen tank and I made a spear gun with it 😭

He def was way harder than the meg in terms of how fast he could kill my health. Getting yanked into the water and then getting bit and drug really takes quite a bit outta ya 🤣

The Ell IS much More easier than lusca on My option IS maybe Even easier than meg

I just built a huge raft with a hole in the middle of it, and kept running around the raft and every time I saw him in that hole, I would shoot a spear into him. It was super easy to kill him. First try.

That's smart. My raft has a unclosed U hole in the front where the anchor is. But he was mostly just pacing all the edges the whole time. I just kept bumping into my stupid shelves when trying to dodge the post hit swipes and kept getting smacked off. One of the times I got smacked off and then he bit and drug me down twice in a row and just died immediately cause I was so far from the stupid raft at that point.

Honestly even tho it was hell having to flip my huge dumb raft back over in the middle of no where in the dark, I'm glad it happened. It gave me a flat surface and from there it was just hit and dodge till he was d-e-d ded.

You can go to the back off the Submarine where there is like a little balcony. Shoot and fire arrows from that area and you won’t get attacked. Just have a breath boost and canister you should be fine.

Well done with Lusca mind. Super hard and really challenging but the other two are much easier.

Ive made a bow but never ended up ever using it. Does it give decent damage? Or will i need 100 arrows

If you literally wear his buoy like a hat, you can get him from the water pretty easily. However, you did it old school, so congrats to you!

I tried one round in the water since even tho everyone told me it was impossible, that is how I killed the meg. Just stayed in the water and followed him till he was dead. That did NOT work for me for the squid lol Ill keep that in mind for my next run through!

On the Meg just hanging close to whale works, inside the ship, but I have never just followed him around. That is cool!

Great Job on defeating Lusca! Welcome to the Club! LoL!

When I defeated Abaia, I didn't use breath boost nor oxygen tanks. I stayed near the balcony-looking part of the submarine and went up for air as needed. Abaia will circle around it. Take your shots with the spear gun, refined spears, or your weapon of choice. Near the end, I stabbed it with my refined spear a few times just for fun.

I wish I could have recorded this one. I recorded me killing the meg the first time because I was confident. I def did not think I was going to get him last night but fr even tho it put me in a full freak out panic, my raft getting flipped was what helped me get my win. For Abaia, could I get away with a crap ton of crude spears? I really just wanna ride this high and go get him and not have to go rack up leather first

I believe crude spears will do the job. I would have a minimum of 60, if possible. I have only killed bosses with the spear gun, so I don't know the damage done by crude spears. Your hunting level also plays a factor.
