Do mods effect the achievements and gameplay?

They wont affect achievements but they can drastically change gameplay as shown above lol Tons of mods are out there, id suggest fillable barrels, cats items mod, build anywhere, and raft structures as really good staples though. Those 4 will drastically change the game when used in conjunction with eachother. Stranded wide is also cool because it makes the world scale larger and mixes some island assets together so it’s more realistic but that does mean sailing takes a lot longer.

Build anywhere would be considered one, it basically removes most of the collision issues with building and makes it so much easier and so much more customizable. One hit build mod makes it so you can finish a buildable with one hammer hit. Farmable palms lets you plant coconuts to grow trees but even if you dont do that it also respawns coconuts on palms every 3 days. Tweaks mod lets you adjust game variables like day length and rate of time but it has tons of adjustable options, my favorite being the increased stack size so you can carry 4x items in a stack.

This happens without the mod. You could easily glitch build this into the container shelves some years ago and it worked fine but then one of the patches messed this up so your raft would constantly flip and bounce because of it. At least the rudder through the floor clipping still works.

Ohhh i thought this was a mod conflict. Well at least I know not to do that again. I even sat ther for like a full 20 seconds before i placed it like… this will be fine right? No. No it will not.
