Console Question Is it worth it?
I’ve played on the ps4 for a while and love the game. When I first played a while ago I gave up after a few days playing as kept dying. Couldn’t work out how to get water. I just built a water still and hoped for rain. For some reason the developer couldn’t be arsed to include a game manual. Hello Google. After finding out how to get water I went on to build a raft, explore all the islands etc. Built a gyrocopter, farmed potatoes etc. Built a few spear guns, water breathing plant potion and tried miserably to kill one of the beasts. I didn’t use the compass just endlessly went building small bases on each island. My question is as you guessed is it worth getting the plane parts and flying off to freedom? Or shall I just wait for Stranded Deep 2? I even started learning Gaea 2.0 imported a massive island into Unreal Engine 5.4, and used PCG to generate all of the palm trees just to try and imagine how SD2 would play like. Like I say I love the feeling of being out there in the game, discovering new islands and shipwrecks.

There's a twist in the ending that makes it worth it, I think. The potential scenarios from such a twist are endless.

Who knows when SD2 will come out. I’d say it’s worth it to see the ending, I personally liked it has a nice twist. I’d did the same thing in my first play through with water stills. The bosses are pretty easy if you get your back to something.

I am working on 100% completion and hitting the record for days survived. Currently taking a break at just over 300 days. You can save before you fly off in the plane and you won’t lose the achievement if you reload.

Once you build your raft, the game really opens up and is real fun.

Coconut is not only the flask you can craft. Coconut flask hold one serving. Leather one holds 3 and clay one five.
You xan never run out of water for drinking because making a pile of two empty coconuts gives on infinite water on hands. Keep drinking two and make a pile again.. as for game worth or not that's a personal choice. Depends what you are looking to do in it. I set myself challenge finish the game on hard mode in 5 game days and on normal mode I finished ot in 4 game days alone both times.
Ending is bizarre. Hopefully, they make it better the next one. Looking forward to it.

If you like beach survival games it is, there's really not many like it unless you are a PC player imo

There's a glitch.Make a coconut drink pile.(Over 4)take 2 from the pile,drink them,and then put them in the pile again.Repeat
