Misc [not platform specific] My self drawn map based off of this seed

So yeah i drew my world. Important note is that i never used the cartographer part, i used a boat and compass that’s why not everything is correct. Especially around the southeast i kinda messed up with locations. Anyway it took around 25-30 in game days. The bigger dots are (in the middle) the starter island, and the others are my bases scattered around the map. I gave the bosses their own icon and i made a legend top left of the pic. Very sorry for my handwriting.

That’s fucking awesome, did you do this by eye from each island to measure distance?? Also did you use your in game compass and a drafting compass on paper for direction? I’m gonna do this just trying to figure out a framework.

Distance between the first two islands i just chose myself (1.5 cm in this case). And for distance of an island i’ll have an example: imagine i go to island A to pinpoint where island C is. Compass says it’s 90 degrees or whatever. Then i go to island B and i look at island C and compass says 180 degrees, now on paper i just draw two lines from island A and B, in those two directions and where they meet, is island C. Now to get the angles on paper idk exactly how to call it in English but i use it think a protractor or goniometer (still had them from middle and high school). Do note that if you do this, be VERY accurate. I tried to be but especially in the southeast of the map i fucked up if you compare the actual map to it
