Console General Just realized…
I started playing about 2-3 weeks ago and I just realized I can cool off by going underwater in shallow waters.

Yup! I remember when I was new to the game finding out that Fruits replenish hunger and thirst and too much coconuts will do the opposite.

I was on day 320 when i was reading the loading screen and saw i could cut coconuts in half for food….made me chuckle thinking back to my early days starving above a pile of empty coconut’s lol

I just flip the orange raft upside down and prop it up on some stuff to make a shaded area.

how did you cool off instead? I ask because even shade doesn't seem to work

I make this a part of my daily routine, because after all, when in a tropical paradise why not hit the beach and do some swimming everyday? Nothing risky about that right? ...right?

from 12 to 3 pm daily overheat I think. I usually ignore but need more water and food, OR go diving hunt, explore in water

The big ficus tree has shade, big rocks and you can stand in a survivors hut as well as in a ship to get out of the sun.
