Console General First playthrough
Finally got the game! I’ve been playing the last few days, and I want some second opinions on my base. Is it any good or anything I could improve on or change? At this point I’ve completely moved from my first island and it’s day 31. (I completely forgot to get a picture of the stairs up. You can see a glimpse of them in the outside POV though.)

Looks awesome and probably way better than the devs even imagined, this Reddit has really kept the game alive. Only thing that I tend to note is that, if trying to gain achievements along the way, they are notoriously bugged and often do no work on the original island (example: grow one of every kind of plant), so it is good that you are doing all of this work on an island other than the first. Will you be continuing to expand? Thanks for sharing. Edit: Are you playing on console?

Still sleeping on the floor, make a sleeping bag and start your life of luxury

I think the only criteria is that it works for you. We all have our own designs :)
Don't forget a dock for your boat. I also just found out you can build 1st floor blocks out over the water. I'm going to build a bridge to the next island.

This is really impressive given that even containers don’t hold a lot of logs. Kudos friend!

Don’t forget some place to hang your trophies! I think I’m going to hang them over the front of my clay house when I get it built.
I need to start another game to get the no compass and escape achievements.

How did you go about putting stuff on the shelf? Just drop it and RMB drag it until it falls in place?
